Hazel Perk Cafe is an LGBTQ-owned café that opened in 2022 on John R Road, just east of Ferndale. It serves coffee, breakfast and lunch and doubles as a community hub, with drag bingo, LGBTQ+ social meetups, live music, movie and game nights, and local art on the walls. Pride Source's 2025 holiday guide also named it among local businesses worth supporting.
