Hamburger Mary's Ypsilanti opened in February 2022 in the former Tower Inn space near Eastern Michigan University. It paired the drag-themed burger chain's menu with Tower Inn favorites and offered weekly drag entertainment. It arrived after the Grand Rapids Hamburger Mary's had closed, but it shut down suddenly in October 2022. Basil Babe now occupies the address.
