01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Greenwich Time Pub is a true downtown survivor. Owner Harry came to the US as a refugee in 1960, worked his way up from dishwasher, and on July 3, 1966, bought the building at 130 Cadillac Square, then a bar called Borg's Lounge. He renamed it Greenwich Time Pub, and it has stayed in the family ever since. The kitchen keeps it simple with burgers, mozzarella sticks, wings and fries, and the Casa Blanca Room in back hosts birthdays and parties.
