Bishop Wayne T. Jackson and his wife, Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson, lead Great Faith Ministries International, a Detroit congregation known for its televised services and for founding the Impact Network, one of the first Christian television networks founded and operated by African Americans. Actor and comedian Brandon T. Jackson, whose father was a pastor there, grew up performing at the church's youth nights as a boy in the 1990s before going on to a film and television career. The congregation also drew national political attention when Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump attended a service at the church during his 2016 campaign. Great Faith Ministries continues to hold regular services today at its Grand River Avenue sanctuary, alongside food giveaways and other community outreach programs.
