Good Cakes and Bakes is an organic-leaning bakery on the Avenue of Fashion stretch of Livernois Avenue, run since 2013 by pastry chef April Anderson and her wife, Michelle. Pride Source and Outlier Media describe it as a queer- and lesbian-owned business, and the shop has carried lesbian magazines. It is known for cakes, cupcakes and seasonal pies, and it takes custom cake orders with nationwide shipping.
