Bars, breweries & distilleries / Downtown

Gilly's Clubhouse

A two-level sports bar on Woodward with a massive TV wall, built for game days, happy hours and big group nights downtown.

01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Gilly's Clubhouse honors Nick "Gilly" Gilbert, Dan and Jennifer Gilbert's son, who died in May 2023, and the sports bar was a project close to his heart. It opened in spring 2024, timed to the Tigers' home opener, inside the Kay Baum Building on Woodward. The space runs across two levels, with a patio on Woodward Avenue downstairs and a mezzanine for private parties and corporate events. The star of the room is a 120-square-foot TV wall you can see from every seat.

  1. 120-square-foot TV wall visible from every seat
  2. Patio right on Woodward Avenue
  3. Mezzanine for private events and large groups
  4. Opened in 2024 in memory of Nick "Gilly" Gilbert
