GEMS, short for Gilbert Exposition Management Services, is an exposition and event management company that started in Orlando and has added offices in Dallas and Detroit. Its Detroit office uses the Huntington Place address on Washington Boulevard, which is handy for exhibitors at the convention center. The team handles event planning, booth construction and buildout, custom exhibits, graphic design and in-house printing, plus install and dismantle labor. It runs trade shows and conventions from the first planning call through show close.
