Folk

Aussie-style daytime café and wine shop in Corktown: seasonal breakfast and brunch, good coffee and biodynamic wine.

01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Folk was founded by Australian chef Rohani Foulkes, inspired by the neighborhood cafés and sundry shops back home. On Trumbull in Corktown it serves fresh, seasonal breakfast and brunch, coffee and wine, with a focus on biodynamic bottles you can drink in or take home. It has earned a James Beard Award nomination. It started in 2018 as a 24-seat sister to The Farmer's Hand grocery next door, and today there's also Neighbor x Folk inside Michigan Central Station.
