The Flint Jazz Festival has run for 44 years, produced for the past 25 by the Greater Flint Arts Council, with regional and international jazz players plus food and drink vendors. Construction moved the 2026 edition (Aug 1–2) into the Capitol Theatre, where Jeanette Harris and Alex Bugnon headlined alongside reggae, soul and local jazz bands. Admission in 2026 was $10 per day.
