The Firebird opened in Sandusky in 2005 and is the main movie house of Sanilac County in the Thumb. Its three stadium-seat auditoriums hold 566 seats in all, and first-run films run on Christie digital projectors with Dolby Digital EX sound. The complex also has a gaming area, Firebird Gaming. From September 25 to October 1, 2026, the three screens are showing Avengers: Endgame Encore, Forgotten Island and Resident Evil.
