Festival Playhouse is Kalamazoo College's theatre company, performing in the Nelda K. Balch Festival Playhouse on campus and now in its 63rd season. Recent productions include Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice, Love's Labour's Lost and The Country Wife. The 2026-27 season opened with Djanet Sears's Harlem Duet on September 11-20, 2026, co-produced with Face Off Theatre Company. The playhouse is also the temporary home of Farmers Alley Theatre's professional season, so one building gives you both college and pro theatre this year.
