Ferndale Pride takes over West Nine Mile Road between Woodward Avenue and Livernois for one Saturday. Organizers bill it as Michigan's largest free LGBTQIA+ festival, with more than 220 vendors and three stages. Things kick off with an opening ceremony in the early afternoon, vendors stay until 8 pm, and entertainment runs until 10 pm. Through 2026 it was held in late May or June (May 30 in 2026); the official countdown points to Aug. 7 for 2027.
