Make time for these
Farmers Alley Theatre takes its name from the downtown alley where its intimate house sits, and it has been producing shows since 2008. Expect musicals, dramas and new comedies with Michigan and national artists. The 2026-27 season, its 19th, is playing temporarily at Kalamazoo College's Festival Playhouse while the company is away from its Farmers Alley home. It opens with Paul Stroili's My Mother and the Michigan/Ohio War, first staged at the Purple Rose Theatre, on September 17 to October 4. Then come Come From Away (November 5-22), Accomplice, Lost in Yonkers, Kimberly Akimbo and Waitress.
