Fantazma Market & Café

Community market series in Southwest Detroit with local makers, pop-up kitchens, live entertainment and cultural celebrations all year.

01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Fantazma Market & Café is a market and event series run by the nonprofit Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation at its Trumbull Avenue headquarters, where Corktown meets Southwest Detroit. It started in 2021 as an outdoor market and 'ghost diner' meant to give local entrepreneurs and chefs, especially business owners of color, a place to reach customers. The 2026 calendar mixes seasonal markets with Pride events, Día de los Muertos and Small Business Saturday, and most events have bilingual Spanish and English staff.

  1. Local vendors, artists and pop-up kitchens
  2. Día de los Muertos, Pride and seasonal markets
  3. Bilingual Spanish and English staff
  4. Vendor applications open to local businesses
