Fair Michigan is best known for the Fair Michigan Justice Project, a partnership with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office to investigate and prosecute violent crimes against LGBTQ+ people, including cold cases. Pride Source has also reported on its name-change clinics and voter initiatives. The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office lists an LGBTQ Unit within its Special Victims Unit.
