01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Equality Michigan formed in 2010 when the Triangle Foundation merged with Michigan Equality, and it is now the state's LGBTQ+ civil-rights and anti-violence organization. It lobbies on state and local policy, runs a community education program and the Rainbow Roadshow, and provides victim services for people facing anti-LGBTQ+ bias, harassment, discrimination or violence. Its online resource hub lists services by region, including the Upper Peninsula.
