02 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Eloise was established in 1839 and served as Wayne County's asylum, poorhouse and tuberculosis sanatorium. Escape The Asylum is set inside the abandoned asylum itself and was nominated for the 2025 TERPECA awards in the Top Room category. The Heist is the lighter pick, all puzzles and code-cracking. The escape rooms opened in 2022, and the same crew runs the Eloise Asylum haunted attraction (its 2026 season kicked off September 25), paranormal investigations and three-hour history tours.

Plan your visit
You need at least four players, games run about 60 minutes, and it's reservation only through the FearTicket booking page or (734) 447-5515. Minors must come with a parent or guardian. During haunt season, parking is $20 in the event lots; skip the Kroger lot.
