Edw. C. Levy Co. is an industrial company that has worked alongside Detroit's steel industry since 1918, based on Dix Avenue in the industrial corridor between Dearborn and Southwest Detroit. The Levy Group turns steelmaking by-products into lightweight aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete and agricultural products, and also handles steel mill services, road building, logistics and lab testing. Its workforce tops 2,500 people.
