The WAB (Woodward Avenue Brewers) is a brewpub in downtown Ferndale that opened in 1997, and Visit Detroit lists it among the area's LGBTQ-friendly spots. It has advertised a weekly Thursday drag queen karaoke night, with drag queens hosting and performing between singers. The WAB itself is a general brewpub, not a gay bar. A 2024 listing for the night was still showing in 2026, but the venue's own site doesn't confirm it's still running.
