Tammy Wehrum, a retired Marine and the city's mayor, has owned the Doghouse since 2016. Local bands and solo acts play Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, with the outdoor patio bar used for live music too, while Friday is DJ/karaoke night and Wednesday is trivia. There are 20 beers on tap, many from Michigan.
