The Detroit Underground Railroad Historical Society operates out of Second Baptist Church, Michigan's oldest Black congregation, leading lecture tours of the Croghan Street Station, one of the few documented Underground Railroad safe-house basements still standing in Detroit. Tours run three times a day on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with limited Sunday access reserved for worship service attendees. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids under thirteen.

How to book and where to meet
Book ahead through the online form with your group name and size. Sunday access is only for people attending the worship service; every other day is open to anyone with a booking.
