Make time for these
The Detroit Red Wings are one of the NHL's Original Six, founded in 1926 as the Detroit Cougars and known as the Red Wings since 1932. Their 11 Stanley Cups are the most of any US-based team, the last four coming in 1997, 1998, 2002 and 2008, and they made the playoffs 25 straight seasons from 1990–91 to 2015–16. After Olympia Stadium and Joe Louis Arena, they've played at Little Caesars Arena since 2017, and "Hockeytown" has been the club's registered trademark since 1996.
