The school fields 17 varsity teams, from basketball and soccer to lacrosse, track and a co-ed fencing squad. Basketball plays at Calihan Hall on the McNichols campus. This is where Dick Vitale coached from 1973 to 1977, taking the Titans to the 1977 NCAA Sweet 16, and the school played football from 1896 until it dropped the sport after the 1964 season.
