Make time for these
Since 2023, this outfit has rented Sea-Doo pontoon boats, jet skis and jet cars from a dock at Dodge #4 State Park in Waterford. There's no narrated tour and no set route, you're behind the wheel, cruising the Detroit River or the nearby lakes however you like. The fleet runs from compact jet skis and two-seat jet cars up to a 230-hp pontoon boat, booked by the half day or full day. They run April 1 through October 1, weather permitting.

How to book and where to meet
Book online at detroitjetboatadventures.com or by phone, for a 4-hour half day or a full 8-hour day. The dock is at Dodge #4 State Park in Waterford. Anyone born on or after July 1, 1996 needs a boating safety certificate for the pontoon boats; jet skis don't require one.
