Make time for these
Destination Downriver is the tourism and media initiative for the Downriver communities along the river south of Detroit, run together with the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber. It ties together 18 towns, from Wyandotte and Trenton to Grosse Ile, Southgate and Romulus. Its co-chairs lead the Brownstown and Flat Rock downtown development authorities, its vodcast with host Karl Ziomek profiles local communities, and it's a good starting point for the area's hiking, biking and paddling trails.
