Make time for these
This is the second home of the family-run Decode studio led by the Doyle brothers, on North Washington Street downtown. All three games share one world: a secret magical society in Ypsilanti is recruiting, and its power is running low. The newest, the Room Where It Happens, is built for small teams of newbies and veterans alike and remixes player-favorite puzzles. The Library is a fast spell-building game for two. Every game is private, and nobody gets locked in.

Open daily 10 a.m.–10 p.m. by reservation. You can even come solo, and groups go up to 15. Kids 13 and under need a paying adult with them.
