Make time for these
Como's has been serving pizza in Ferndale since 1961 and for decades doubled as a gay hangout, once hosting lesbian-friendly ladies' nights. It closed in 2018 and reopened in 2019 under new ownership with a pastel makeover that openly embraces its LGBTQ+ history, including a drag-themed mural on the patio. The large covered patio sits right next to the Ferndale Pride festival grounds. Today it's a gay-friendly restaurant and bar rather than an exclusively LGBTQ+ venue.
