Make time for these
Collette Williams ran Motown Portrait Photography on Detroit's Avenue of Fashion from 1989 until he retired from the storefront. He spent 15 years shooting for Ebony and Jet, and his subjects range from Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker and Tommy Hearns to Mayor Coleman Young, Nelson Mandela and Rosa Parks. His work has been shown at the Smithsonian in Washington. These days he takes selected assignments: portraits, weddings, corporate and political events, even drone photography.
