The building was originally McCarty Hall, a men-only billiard parlor linked to stories of a young Ernest Hemingway. It was voted the No. 1 live entertainment spot in the Petoskey News-Review's Best of Northwest and runs weekly Friday karaoke plus live bands (past acts include The Accidentals and Galactic Sherpas).
