Pierce previously led Inside Detroit and the Detroit Experience Factory, and has run City Institute since 2021. The group builds in-depth Learning Journeys for companies and visiting city-leader delegations, plus private walks and consulting, alongside live or streamed public tours. The focus is context: not just what you're looking at, but why Detroit looks the way it does.
