Central Kitchen + Bar

Modern American gastropub in the First National Building, with a patio on Cadillac Square and cocktails built on house infusions.

01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Central Kitchen + Bar is a go-to downtown lunch and after-work spot on the ground floor of the First National Building, on the Cadillac Square side. Dennis Archer Jr. and Christopher Brochert announced it in 2015 with partner Ken Karam as a modern American gastropub. The plans called for nearly 130 seats, including 18 at the bar, plus patio seating. The bar makes its own infusions for the cocktails, and there's a happy hour.

  1. Gastropub in the First National Building
  2. Patio facing Cadillac Square
  3. Cocktails made with house infusions
  4. Open until midnight on weekends
