Opened in 2021, Camp Boomerang is a gated, men-only RV park and campground near Orleans, about 50 miles northwest of Lansing. It offers full-hookup RV sites, tent sites with electric, a pool, a hot tub, resort-style showers and the Boomerang Ballroom, and clothing is optional throughout the property. The April–October season has a themed event almost every weekend, including the June Bear Bash, a September cowboy weekend and the late-September Leather-Fetish Weekend. In February 2021, before opening, the owners announced an entry policy that excluded trans men; after backlash, an admin of the campground's Facebook group posted a retraction.
