What’s it like to stay here?
The Walker-Roehrig Building opened in 1936 at Lafayette and Third, designed by Albert Kahn, and for years it was home to WWJ radio. Koucar Management turned it into a hotel that opened in May 2023 with 154 rooms, and the restaurants and bars followed that summer. Cibo does steaks and seafood, Beve is the lobby cocktail lounge and A.M. Buzz handles the coffee. Up top, the Cielo rooftop bar looks out over the skyline and serves weekend brunch. There's about 23,000 square feet of event space, including the Art Deco Sala ballroom, and Huntington Place and the Rosa Parks Transit Center are a short walk away.
