01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
This is where Andiamo started: Joe Vicari opened the first one in Warren in 1990, and it grew into a whole metro Detroit restaurant family. The kitchen still follows the late Master Chef Aldo Ottaviani's rule of fresh, seasonal, made-from-scratch cooking. Pasta is still made by hand every day, with 92-year-old Angelina working alongside Tonya and Anna. The building also has a banquet center for weddings and corporate events, and the Andiamo Celebrity Showroom concert room is part of the same complex.
