Make time for these
The Allen Park Theatre opened in 1940 with one big auditorium for more than 1,600 people, designed by Bennett & Straight. Nicholas George twinned it in 1970, and after 1986 AMC carved it into five screens. MJR later ran it as a second-run bargain house. In 2015 an independent operator renamed it Allen Park Digital Cinemas. It closed for good on October 10, 2019, and demolition began on April 5, 2023.
