03 / The story of this place

What’s it like to stay here?

The Roxbury Group built this 10-story hotel, which opened in 2025, and restored its neighbor along the way: the Bonstelle Theatre, designed by Albert Kahn in 1902 as Temple Beth-El and later a Wayne State University theater, is now the hotel's event space. Breakfast is at the AC Kitchen, cocktails at the AC Lounge, and The Conservatory does Spanish tapas and gin drinks. Since May 2026 there's also Topa, an 11th-floor rooftop bar looking out over Midtown and downtown. In town for a game or a show? Little Caesars Arena, the Fox Theatre and Comerica Park are all a short walk.
