The Detroit story
George Stults was born in Detroit on August 16, 1975, but grew up in the small mountain town of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, so Detroit is his birthplace rather than his hometown. Athletic and outdoorsy, he worked as a model before moving into acting. His big role came on The WB's family drama 7th Heaven, where he joined the cast as Kevin Kinkirk, a police officer who falls for and eventually marries Lucy Camden, the minister's daughter; he stayed with the series until its final season in 2007, becoming one of its most familiar faces. His younger brother Geoff Stults, also born in Detroit, is an actor as well, and the two appeared together on 7th Heaven, where Geoff played Kevin's brother Ben. George later guest-starred in several network series.
