Got Pistons tickets? Don't just come for the game, make an afternoon of it. You start in the downtown theater district, grab a plate of legendary spaghetti, then walk or ride the QLINE up to the arena. And when the crowd heads for the parking decks, you finish the night in a historic jazz club.

Game day

  1. 14:00

    Grand Circus Park

    Detroit – Downtown

Start in the heart of the theater district: this half-circle park goes back to Augustus Woodward's 1807 city plan, and today the Fox Theatre and the David Whitney Building ring it. Both the QLINE and the People Mover drop you here.

A few minutes' walk to Broadway.

  2. 14:30

    Detroit Beer Company

    Downtown / Broadway

A brewery bar on the first two floors of the historic Hartz Building since September 2003. House beer, food and sports on the screens: exactly where you get in game mode.

About a 10-minute walk north on Woodward Avenue.

  3. 16:00

    Mom's Spaghetti

    Detroit – Downtown

Eminem's walk-up spaghetti window is named for that famous Lose Yourself line and has been open since September 29, 2021. Spaghetti in a box with garlic toast, with meatballs or vegan meatballs, or the 'sghetti sandwich; upstairs, The Trailer sells merch.

    A few steps up Woodward.

  4. 17:00

    Fox Theatre

    Downtown

A quick photo in front of the Fox Theatre's historic Woodward facade: C. Howard Crane's 1928 movie palace hosts concerts and stage shows today. Expect extra traffic around here on game days.

About a 10-minute walk north on Woodward, or the QLINE from Montcalm Street to Adelaide / Sproat.

  5. 18:00

    Little Caesars Arena

    Midtown

Opened in 2017, the arena is home to the Detroit Pistons and the Red Wings. Restaurants and venues of the District Detroit surround it, so get there early, look around and find your seat before the anthem.

About a 10-minute walk south to Park Avenue.

  6. 21:45

    Cliff Bell’s

    Downtown

After the buzzer, live jazz in a historic club, with dinner and drinks. Check the show calendar and table reservations ahead, since a specific performance can have its own arrangements.

Good to know

  • Get to the arena early on game nights: check the current rules on mobile tickets, bag sizes and entry gates, and always confirm the event and seating setup on your ticket.
  • The QLINE's Adelaide / Sproat stop is right at Little Caesars Arena: southbound you board at Sproat Street, northbound at Adelaide Street.
  • Detroit Beer Company can post special game-day hours, so check those instead of its normal weekly schedule.
  • Always confirm tip-off time on the official NBA schedule.
