Demetrius Nabors Concert

Demetrius “Krayon” Nabors is a pianist, composer, and producer from Detroit, combining jazz, gospel, classical, and blues influences in his music. He is a two-time Detroit Music Award winner for Outstanding Gospel/Christian Musician and holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Jazz Studies from the University of Michigan.

Nabors' career has included performances across the United States, Europe, and Africa, and appearances on national television such as The Arsenio Hall Show. As a producer and collaborator, he has contributed to multiple Billboard-charting projects with artists like KEM, Althea Rene, Tim Bowman, and Willie Bradley. His credits include several #1 hits, including KEM’s "Nobody" and "It’s You," with "Nobody" receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional R&B Performance.

As a recording artist, Nabors has released numerous albums, EPs, and singles reflecting his musical and personal journey, including the A Journey Within series, Perseverance (2021), Evolution (2022), and his recent single "Chosen," added to SiriusXM Watercolors in 2026. His work centers on creating meaningful musical experiences where connection and purpose are paramount.
