Dave Bennett Concert

Dave Bennett breaks the mold of typical jazz clarinetists by blending influences from Alice Cooper, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Chris Isaak. Besides classic swing, he performs rockabilly hits while accompanying himself on piano or electric guitar. He has soloed with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and played with over 35 US and Canadian orchestras, including Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He debuted in Europe at the Bern Jazz Festival alongside jazz legends and Benny Goodman alumni. He’s shared the stage with notable artists like Ken Peplowski and Bria Skonberg, and regularly plays at major jazz festivals. In 2022, he opened for Sammy Hagar in Houston. The audience enjoyed his show in March at Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe in Grosse Pointe Farms.
