Tumbao Bravo Latin Jazz Concert

Formed in 2004 in Ann Arbor, Tumbao Bravo brings authentic Cuban Latin jazz to life. Led by saxophonist, flutist, and percussionist Paul Vornhagen, their lineup includes trumpet, congas, timbales, keyboard, and electric bass. Their music fuses mambo, cha cha, rumba, and bolero rhythms with rich original jazz harmonics. The band’s fiery, tight arrangements and passionate solos showcased their high level of musicianship on stage at the Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe. They've won multiple Detroit Music Awards and performed across Michigan, Toledo, Chicago, and San Francisco jazz clubs and festivals. Their blend of traditional Latin grooves with modern original works made for a memorable evening.
