Stonewall Run Club

The Stonewall Run Club hosts running events in Ferndale, beginning at Affirmations (290 W 9 Mile Rd). Participants can choose between a 5-kilometer and a 10-kilometer route, both looping through local streets and finishing behind Soho or Sidecar Slider Bar, alternating based on whether the week is odd or even. Weather conditions are monitored, and if hazardous weather such as rain, lightning, or active precipitation is detected near the running route, the run is cancelled. In that case, a social indoor meetup is held instead at the Soho/Sidecar Slider Bar. Weather-related decisions are announced by 11:00 AM on event days through social media and the event page to keep participants informed.
