Dave Simonett (of Trampled By Turtles)

Dave Simonett has led the popular roots band Trampled By Turtles for nearly two decades, also fronting the emotionally charged indie rock group Dead Man Winter. For the first time under his own name, he presented Red Tail, a solo album with a reflective, cinematic feel inspired by the outdoors of northern Minnesota. The songs don’t tie directly to his life but invite listeners to find their own meanings. At The Ark, he brought these poetic, nature-imbued songs to life with a mix of folk and indie rock sounds. Tickets were $35, available online or by phone with processing fees included, or at the box office without fees.
