The Henry Ford's evening Halloween walk returns to Greenfield Village in Dearborn for its 46th season, October 1–4, 8–11, 15–18 and 22–25 (Thursdays to Sundays), 6–9:30 p.m., with more than 50 costumed characters and scenes from The Wizard of Oz and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Tickets run $28–$42, and several nights sell out, so book early.

Before the scares start, the City of Dearborn hosts a calm, sensory-friendly trick-or-treat walk on the Ford Field Park trail on Friday, October 16, 5:30–6:30 p.m., for families who prefer treats over tricks. It's free, and the city encourages registering ahead.
The historic Frauenthal Theater in Muskegon screens the 1991 comedy The Addams Family for free on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 3 p.m.. On Sunday, October 25, Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester lets kids trick-or-treat along the estate's woodland paths and through the first floor of the historic mansion, with games, crafts, cider and donuts in a heated Garden Tent. Advance timed-entry tickets are required ($20 youth, $10 adults), and every slot is expected to sell out.
Grosse Pointe War Memorial hosts the 4th Annual Halloween Spooktacular on Sunday, October 25, at 12 p.m., at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms. Expect indoor trick-or-treating in the historic Alger House plus live stage shows. Tickets are $10 per person.
