The Moth STORY SLAM! Dedication
The Moth came back to the Cliff Bell’s stage on Thursday, January 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Detroit with the theme Dedication. Storytellers competed with true five-minute tales for the top prize.
At The Moth’s event, true stories were shared around the theme of Dedication at Cliff Bell’s. The evening started with sign-ups to tell a story or judge, while others listened. Each story lasted five minutes, judged immediately after, and the highest scorer won the StorySLAM title, moving on to the GrandSLAM finals. Stories had to be true, without notes, and follow the theme for a real storytelling challenge. This event already took place.
