The Damned: Final Damnation 50
UK punk originators The Damned play Thursday, October 29, at 6 p.m. at The Majestic Theatre in Detroit, with The Flamin' Groovies and The Courettes. Expect garage/psyche/goth-tinged punk from across their catalog. Tickets available.
The Damned helped spark punk in 1976 and never stuck to one lane. Final Damnation 50 dives into their era-defining cuts—from Machine Gun Etiquette and The Black Album through Strawberries—to the sharper, guitar-driven Darkadelic. David Vanian’s baritone and Captain Sensible’s razor-edged playing thread gothic chills, garage grit, psychedelia, and punk velocity.
Openers: The Flamin' Groovies and The Courettes. The show hits The Majestic Theatre in Detroit on Thursday at 6 p.m. Tickets are available.
