Trick or Treat Downtown Ferndale
Downtown Ferndale businesses host a trick-or-treat afternoon on Saturday, October 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Downtown Ferndale in Ferndale. Kids and pups get treats, with community stations from Ferndale Fire and Police around town.
Participating businesses will hand out candy and dog treats—look for the “Customized Pumpkin” poster in windows to know where to stop. Community stations from Ferndale Fire Department, Ferndale Police Department, Downtown Ferndale staff, commissioners, and council members will be set up around town.
Costumes are welcome; organizers ask everyone to choose attire that’s respectful of others. The DDA reminds visitors to follow safety tips: obey signs, use crosswalks, stay on sidewalks, look both ways, and plan your route. A zone guide map will be posted to help you navigate.
