Ole 60
Ole 60 plays Masonic Temple Detroit on Saturday, October 17, at 6 p.m. The Kentucky six-piece hit Spotify’s U.S. Viral Top 50 with “smoke & a light” and now tours behind debut album Smokestack Town. Tickets available.
Ole 60 doesn’t stick to straight country: they blend indie rock sonics, folk songwriting, and country grit, drawing on influences from Smashing Pumpkins and Metallica to Radiohead and John Prine. Billboard praised their tight playing, willingness to experiment, and detail-heavy storytelling.
In 2024 they surged with “smoke & a light” topping Spotify’s U.S. Viral Top 50 and the three twenty four EP leading Apple Music’s Country Albums chart; later, the Songs About You EP and “Thoughts of You” broke on TikTok’s all-genre Viral 50. Now they’re headlining with the debut album Smokestack Town and the surprise single “Can’t Take It With You.”
Venue: Masonic Temple Detroit, in the Masonic Temple Theatre. All ages. Tickets available.
