Trunino Lowe Quartet

Trunino Lowe is one of Detroit’s promising young jazz talents. He started music at Detroit Public Schools and further pursued a professional career at Detroit School of Arts. Mentored by top Detroit trumpeters like Kris Johnson, he’s connected to the city’s jazz lineage and also mentors others. He’s performed with greats like Marion Hayden and Dee Dee Bridgewater on stages from Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in NYC to venues in Europe. His October 31 show at Cliff Bell’s offered a strong jazz experience. Doors opened at 5 p.m. for dinner, with seating starting at 6 p.m., and the show began at 7:30 p.m., followed by a second show at 9:30 p.m.
