Legal Document Assistance Walk-In Day

The GR Trans Foundation hosts Legal Document Assistance Walk-In Days twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesdays. This service helps Kent County trans and nonbinary residents update or obtain important identification documents, including driver's licenses, state IDs, social security cards, birth certificates (both Michigan and out-of-state), and passports. Attendees are encouraged to bring their driver's license or state ID, certified birth certificate, certified name change document, and old passport if available. The service operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so waiting times may occur. Financial assistance is offered to support eligible individuals.
